The Agile DMT-X1 is the scaled down version of the Agile DMT trainer. Although it feels quite sturdy, the X1 is still lighter than the original DMT with a lower user weight capacity (350 lbs vs 400 lbs) and unit weight (223 lbs vs 390 lbs). So heavier users may want to check out the DMT first.
It also has less resistance levels (16 vs 20). Then again, for the price difference of $1000, many people may not care.
